Snow Home is a small Android personalization app that displays a decorative snow effect on your device. The snow effect is rendered locally on your device.

Data Collection

Snow Home does not collect personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, files, photos, device identifiers, usage analytics, or advertising identifiers.

Data Sharing

Snow Home does not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with third parties.

Display Over Other Apps Permission

Snow Home requests Android's Display over other apps permission so it can draw the decorative snow layer above your current screen.

This permission is used only for the visual snow effect. Snow Home does not read screen content, does not take screenshots, does not record user interactions, and does not upload screen data.

Microphone Permission

Snow Home may request Android's Microphone permission to detect a short blowing sound and create a playful blown-snow effect.

The microphone is used only for local volume-level detection while the snow overlay is running. Snow Home does not record audio, does not recognize speech, does not save audio, and does not upload audio data.

Local Settings

Snow Home may save simple app settings on your device, such as the selected snow intensity, whether the snow overlay is active, and whether the microphone permission prompt has already been shown. These settings stay on your device and are not uploaded.

Children's Privacy

Snow Home does not knowingly collect personal data from children or any other users.

Security

Because Snow Home does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data transfer to secure. The snow effect and settings remain local to your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Snow Home changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
